PGCCA

Prince George’s Community Cat Alliance is comprised of a diverse assembly of area cat groups who share a common goal — to humanely reduce the free roaming cat population of Prince George’s County through spay/neuter, adoption of friendly cats and kittens, and Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return of unsocialized free-roaming cats.

These groups include BCC, Laurel Cats, Inc., Alley Cat Rescue, Outlaw Kitties TNR & Rescue, Puddy Cat Rescue,
Rock Creek Cats, Bowie Citizens for Local Animal Welfare (Bowie CLAW), A Cats Life Rescue,
The Humane Society of Charles County, Last Chance Animal Rescue, and SPCA/Humane Society of Prince George’s County.

SPCA

Their Feral Fix Clinic, held on the fourth Saturday of every month, may be impacted by COVID-19. Please check their website or call 301-262-5625, extension 9, to inquire about availability. When their Feral Fix Clinic resumes normal operation, they will focus on free spay/neuter services for the Prince George’s County residents most in need. Due to a two-month closure, the wait for appointments may be as long as three months.

Other affordable clinics include: Humane Rescue Alliance (202-726-2556), Spay Now Laurel (301-483-7080), Spay Spa & Neuter Nook (443-607-6496), and Spay Spot (301-254-8151).
