BCC began operations
In March of 2019 as a program of Laurel Cats, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been helping free-roaming cats in Laurel since 2014. On July 1, 2020, BCC separated from Laurel Cats and became a free-standing 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Both groups continue to work together as neighbors with a shared mission to help community cats in Southern Maryland.
